Football Programs Announce Classes from National Signing Day

INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference football programs celebrated National Signing Day by releasing their recruiting classes on Wednesday, Feb. 1. 
 
Social media accounts were buzzing from the early morning as programs showed their creativity welcoming their newest student-athletes as part of the class of 2027.
 
Ashland first year head coach Doug Geiser inked 40 names for the reigning champs. Tiffin, the conference runner-up, signed 33 new student-athletes to their roster. 
 
Findlay, led by Kory Allen, adds 40 new names from five different states to his list.

A total of 20 student-athletes have been added to the Northwood roster under first-year head coach Dustin Beurer. Hillsdale's numbers mirrored Northwoods and head coach Keith Otterbein with 20 recruits. 

 Kentucky Wesleyan added a record-breaking 44 new Panthers to Coach Young's roster. 

At the time of the release, official numbers from Lake Erie, Ohio Dominican, and Walsh were not yet released to the public. 

Thomas More will join the Great Midwest football schedule in the 2023 season. The Saints are currently in transition from play in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
