Cedarville's McClish Named D2CCA Midwest Regional Player of the Year

INDIANAPOLIS-- The Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) announced the 2023 Women’s Soccer Midwest Regional teams Tuesday morning. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference was well-represented, as Cedarville’s Megan McClish headlined awards as the 2023 Player of the Year.
 
McClish had an outstanding year on the pitch, leading the conference in goals and assists. She totaled 11 goals at .500 per game and recorded a league-high 27 points (1.23 ppg). The junior from West Jefferson, Ohio, was voted as the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year by the league’s coaches. She led the Yellow Jackets to their third straight NCAA Division II Regional appearance with an at-large bid as the No. 5 seed.
 
In addition to McClish, the Great Midwest landed nine other student-athletes on the all-region teams. A full list of honorees can be found below.
