INDIANAPOLIS- For the second consecutive week, the Ashland University Women’s Basketball team was voted No. 1 by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
The Eagles improved to 16-0 with wins over Cedarville and Northwood this past week. Ashland received 23 first-place votes in this week’s poll.
As a team, Ashland leads the country in field goal percentage at 52.60% and ranks second in scoring margin at 25.2 points.
On an individual level, Annie Roshak leads all of Division II in field goal percentage. Roshak is currently 88-126 on the year for a 69.84 FG%.
Ashland will look to extend their 16-game win-streak later this week against Lake Erie and Walsh.
