WACO, TEX. – The Ashland University football team moves up three spots in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 poll released on Monday.
The Eagles jump to No. 9 in the national poll this week after a win at Quincy on Saturday. This is Ashland’s first time in the Top 10 since 2017.
Ashland is 3-0 to start its 2022 campaign after kicking off the season with upset victory over Notre Dame before downing conference foe Findlay to move to 1-0 in the Great Midwest standings.
For the fourth consecutive week, the Eagles are the lone Great Midwest representative in the Division II poll.
Ashland will return to conference play this week hosting first-year member Northwood at Jack Miller Stadium.
