WACO, TEX. – Ashland football remains at No. 12 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 Poll released on Monday.
 
For the third week in a row, the Eagles are the only Great Midwest team in the Top 25. Tiffin is among schools receiving votes.
 
Ashland remains idle in this week’s poll after an open date last weekend. The Eagles will defend their unblemished record when they return to action this Saturday with a trip to Illinois to take on region foe Qunicy of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
The Eagles are 2-0 for the first time since 2016 and will return home to Jack Miller Stadium on Oct. 1 hosting Northwood.
