Ashland Jumps to No. 12 in Latest AFCA Poll

WACO, TEX. – Ashland jumps to No. 12 in the latest American Football Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll released on Monday.
 
A 28-3 at Findlay on Saturday (Sept. 10) night has moved the Eagles up eight spots in the latest AFCA poll. After receiving votes in the preseason, the Eagles jumped to No. 20 after a 31-14 home win over Notre Dame College in the season opener.
 
This is AU's best ranking since the end of the 2017 season, when it was No. 10 in the country.
 
For the second straight week, Ashland is the lone Great Midwest school in the Top 25. Tiffin is among the field of teams receiving votes. The Dragons are 2-0 after a 28-13 over Ohio Dominican.
