In a vote of athletics communications offices around the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, Walsh University's athletics communications office was voted as the best for the 2021-22 academic year.
Led by assistant athletic director
Tyler Stotsky, who came to Walsh from Lake Erie College in 2018, the office was voted to have had the best year in the conference as the Cavaliers won four league championships. Walsh won the men's basketball, men's cross country, women's lacrosse and baseball championships and advanced to the NCAA regional final in women's basketball. Stotsky works alongside Christina Paone, who also serves Walsh as SWA and head men's and women's golf coach, and grad assistant Jamie Halloran. Alexis Green has been hired as a grad assistant for 2022-23.
The award was announced as the conference's annual summer meetings in Columbus, Ohio.
