Fifteen standout student-athletes from eight different member institutions are this week's Great Midwest Athletic Conference athletes of the week for the period April 4-April 10.

Below is a recap of each award winner and a complete list of this week's honorees.


Baseball Player of the Week
Roland Ryan - Trevecca Nazarene / Soph. / Knoxville, Tennessee
Ryan continued his tear this season, batting .583 (7-for-12) with two homers, five doubles, seven walks and 11 runs scored over last week's games. Ryan's play helped TNU go 4-0 last week.

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Jacob Harsany - Ashland / Sr. / Warren, Ohio
Harsany came up in two big spots for Ashland, going 2-0 with a win both as a starter and in relief. He struck out 10 batters over 10 innings and didn't allow an earned run as Ashland went 3-1 last week.

Softball Player of the Week
Braxton Downs - Ohio Dominican / Jr. / Louisville, Kentucky
Downs hit .647 with four home runs and six RBIs to lead ODU to a 6-0 week. Downs and the Panthers are now 11-1 in Great Midwest action.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
Ashlan Sensing - Trevecca Nazarene / Fr. / Dickson, Tennessee
Sensing went 3-0 and didn't allow an earned run or any walks over 13 innings, leading TNU to a 4-0 record for the week. She struck out 20 batters and didn't allow an extra-base hit.

Men's Golf Player of the Week
Blain Turner - Trevecca Nazarene / Sr. / Mt. Juliet, Tennessee
Turner was the medalist at the Music City Invitational in Tennessee, shooting a 69-67=136 for his eighth career tournament win. His second-round 67 was one shot off his personal best.

Women's Golf Player of the Week
Gabby Woods - Findlay / Soph. / Sabina, Ohio
Woods continued her dominance this spring, taking medalist honors at the NC4K Classic. She shot 74-70=144 and led the Oilers to the team title, their fourth in a row.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Cyrille Colomb - Tiffin / Soph. / Neyron, France
Colomb won the clinching point in Tiffin's 4-1 win over Hillsdale. He won 6-1, 6-3 in singles and also added a 6-4 win in doubles. 

Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Laiying Alvarado - Findlay / Sr. / Lara, Venezuela
Alvarado rolled at No. 2 singles in UF's 4-3 win over Hillsdale. She won 6-1, 6-3 in the second singles spot and also won 7-5 at No. 1 doubles.

Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Myles Hamm - Mercyhurst / Jr. / Calgary, Canada
Hamm had 13 points (10 goals, 3 assists) in Mercyhurst's pair of wins last week. He scored eight goals in the team's 19-9 win over Walsh.  

Men's Lacrosse Defender of the Week
Liam Bogedain - Mercyhurst / Sr. / Toledo, Ohio
Bogedain totaled six caused turnovers and 1 ground ball in Mercyhurst's key 18-16 win vs. Seton Hill. 

Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Allie Kasprzyk - Findlay / Sr. / East Aurora, New York
Kasprzyk helped Findlay move to 5-0 in conference play by scoring 15 points in three games. She had eight goals, seven assists and two ground balls as UF went 3-0 for the week. 

Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week
Chloe Nottingham - Findlay / Sr. / New Westminster, Canada
Nottingham solidified UF's defense during its 3-0 week, totaling 13 ground balls and five forced turnovers.

Men's Outdoor Track Running Athlete of the Week
Isaiah Kelly - Cedarville / Jr. / Mason, Ohio
Kelly broke the school record in the 10,000m run, clocking 29:43.92 (NCAA Provisional mark). He placed seventh of 80 runners at the Flames Invitational. 

Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Noah Koch - Ashland / Fr. / Strattanville, Pennsylvania
Koch registered a 58.034m hammer throw mark, which moved him to the top of the national chart. 

Women's Outdoor Track Running Athlete of the Week
Zalonya Eby - Hillsdale / Jr. / Maybee, Michigan
Eby, the 200m indoor champion, placed seventh in the 200m in 25.25, the second fastest time in the Great Midwest this spring. She also ran a leg on a 4x400 team that ran the fastest time in the G-MAC so far (3:46.81) and the 10th-fastest time in the nation while meeting an NCAA Provisional time.

Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Ndidiamaka Anaraodo - Walsh / Sr. / Columbus, Ohio
Anaraodo put up the second-best shot put throw in the nation so far, a 15.53m mark that is also fourth in conference history. She also placed third in the hammer throw at the John Homon Invitational.
