Hillsdale Makes Men's Hoops Regional Final

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Hillsdale College men's basketball is still dancin'. After a 90-74 win over No. 2 seed Ferris State, the Chargers are in the NCAA Midwest Regional Final. 

Hillsdale (22-7), the No. 3 seed in the regional, will play Missouri-St. Louis Monday night for a berth into the NCAA Elite Eight.

Patrick Cartier, the two-time Great Midwest Player of the Year, led HC with 30 points. Jack Gohlke added 21 as the Chargers shot 52 percent for the game and 17-for-21 at the free throw line to overpower Ferris.

In the other regional semifinal, UMSL defeated host and top seed Walsh 87-58. WU's season ended with a 24-7 overall record and conference regular season and tournament titles.
