INDIANAPOLIS – A three-win week has led to Great Midwest Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week honors for the Ashland Eagles.

Spielman continues her impressive sophomore campaign settling in as Ashland’s second leading scorer on the team averaging 13.6 points per game.
 
In wins over Cedarville, Lake Erie, and Ursuline, the Ohio native averaged 18.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 73.1% from the field.
 
Spielman was also perfect from the charity stripe knocking down all 15 of her attempts. The guard leads the league in free throw percentage shooting .901% from the line.
