INDIANAPOLIS – Trevecca Nazarene snapped a five-game losing streak this weekend with a win over third place Walsh helping earn the Trojans Great Midwest Men’s Basketball of the Week honors.

Penha made quite the statement on the hard court over helping lead the Trojans to a weekend split over the two of the top teams in the conference standings.
 
The Pickerington, Ohio native stuffed the stat sheet over two games averaging a double-double for the weekend. The senior put up impressive numbers to achieve that averaging 20.5 points and 14 rebounds per game while shooting 52% from the field.
 
In Trevecca’s win over Walsh, Penha recorded a school-record 18 rebounds to go along with a team-high 20 points.
 
The Trojans return to action on Thursday at Ohio Dominican.
