INDIANAPOLIS--  The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) released their Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll Tuesday afternoon. The poll considers teams’ records through Sunday, Dec. 4.
 
For the third consecutive week, Ashland is featured in the Top 25 at the Division II level. The Eagles were voted at the No. 3 spot, after being ranked No. 2 in last week’s poll. They are currently ranked behind Grand Valley State (7-0) and West Texas A&M (8-0).
 
Ashland is first in the Great Midwest with a 2-0 record. They recorded their first conference wins of the season this past week against Findlay and Tiffin. Overall, the Eagles hold a record of 6-0.
 
Ashland is set to face Great Midwest opponent Walsh University on Thursday, Dec. 8 followed by Northwood on Saturday.
