INDIANAPOLIS—The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association released their fifth regular season coaches poll on Tuesday afternoon. The poll considers teams’ records through Sunday, December 18^th.
 
The Ashland University Eagles remain at No. 2 in this week’s rankings behind regional opponent Grand Valley State University. The Eagles sit at 12-0 on the year and are 6-0 in the Great Midwest.
 
Ashland recorded two more conference wins this past week against Kentucky Wesleyan (68-47) and Trevecca Nazarene (83-50).
 
The Eagles will return to competition on Friday, Dec. 29 against Michigan Tech.
