INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference is sending two programs to the Midwest Regional of the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship following the reveal of Monday night’s selection show.
Great Midwest tournament champion Ashland (15-3-2) earned the automatic qualifying bid after winning their second straight Great Midwest title on Saturday. The Eagles are slotted at the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 Ferris State.
Regular season champions and conference tournament runner-up Cedarville earned the No. 2 seed. The Yellow Jackets hold a 16-3-1 overall record and will battle McKendree on Thursday, Nov. 10.
First round matches will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10 or Friday, Nov. 11 and second round matches will take place either Saturday Nov. 12 or Sunday Nov. 13. All games will be played on the campus of a participating institution and will consist of two sites per region.
