INDIANAPOLIS—The NCAA revealed the 2022 Division II Men’s Soccer official bracket late Monday evening. A trio of schools from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference earned spots in the Super Region Three portion of the bracket.
A total of 40 teams from four super regions across the country were selected by the national committee with the first round scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 11. Super Region Three consists of teams from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and Great American Conference.
Ashland, Tiffin, and Lake Erie represent the Great Midwest in Super Region Three.
Ashland earned a first-round bye as the No. 2 seed. The Eagles were recently crowned Great Midwest Tournament Champions and will play the winner of Wisconsin-Parkside and University of Indianapolis.
Lake Erie will be making their third straight NCAA appearance at the No. 8 seed. The Storm will face Southern Nazarene from the Great American Conference on Friday, Nov. 11.
The Dragons from Tiffin University are the No. 4 seed and will face the No. 5 seeded University of Illinois Springfield.
Ashland will host a portion of second-round games beginning on Nov. 13.
