Ashland Women's Soccer Moves up to No. 24 in Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After improving to 8-3-0 on the year, the Ashland University Eagles have moved up one spot are now ranked No. 24 in the United Soccer Coache's Poll. 

The Eagles extended their win streak to three this past week with two conference victories. Ashland defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 2-0 and Trevecca Nazarene by a score of 3-0.

Several key players have helped Ashland achieve a 6-1 conference record. Senior goalkeeper and Great Midwest Defensive Athlete of the Week Bri Rogers leads the conference in shutouts at five on the year. Leading the conference in assists is Offensive Athlete of the Week McKinley Mendenhall. Mendenhall averages .727 assists per game and also sits at the No. 5 spot in points at 14 on the year. Senior Bailey Clark ranks sixth in goals with five on the year. 

Ashland will play on the road against Malone and Lake Erie this week.
