INDIANAPOLIS -- The undefeated Ashland University Eagles appeared in the first NCAA Super Region rankings of the 2022 season. Teams are listed as “under consideration” in this week’s poll. Super Region rankings will also be released Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 in rank order, with post-season play beginning on Nov. 19.
 
Ranked No. 6 in the American Football Coaches Poll (AFCA), the Eagles hold a 7-0 overall record and are 5-0 in the Great Midwest. This is the first time the Eagles have been under consideration in Super Region 1 since 2017. They currently average 32.29 points per contest, while holding opponents to an average 10.71 points.
 
Ashland will continue conference play against Hillsdale College on Saturday, Oct. 29.
