Eagles Bump Up to No. 21 in Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The United Soccer Coaches Poll released its Top 25 for the week of Oct. 10. The Ashland University Women's Soccer Team moved up three spots and now sit at No. 21. 

The Eagles are coming off of a big week of competition as they added two more victories over conference opponents. Ashland defeated both Malone and Lake Erie to improve to 10-3 overall and 8-1 in the Great Midwest. Senior Goalkeeper Bri Rogers recorded two more shutouts (2-0, 4-0) in the victories. Forward McKinley Mendenhall totaled three goals in the two matches. Both Rogers and Mendenhall were awared Great Midwest Athlete of the Week honors for back-to-back weeks. 

Ashland will look to extend its five-game win streak as they face Malone and Northwood this week.
