INDIANAPOLIS – Kentucky Wesleyan and Ohio Dominican split Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week honors as released on Tuesday afternoon.

Stokke and the Panthers were able to celebrate their first conference win of the season in a back-and-forth tussle against Malone that went into overtime.
 
The freshman delivered a hat trick, including the golden goal, in the 92nd minute to lift the Panthers at home. On the week, he had eight points on four goals.
 
He also scored earlier in the week against Walsh, a program that is receiving votes and knocking on the door of the United Soccer Coaches Top 25. The Cavaliers were in first place when playing KWC.
 
Stokke scored in the 40th minute for his first goal and was able to find the net twice in the second half. His second goal came in the 78th minute and a double assist from teammates Calum Newson and Max Wawrin translated into the game winner.
 
Stokke and Newson are now tied for third among all players in points (8) while Stokke is third in goals scored (4).

Benito was clutch to help the Panthers pick up a huge win on the road in overtime against Lake Erie, earning three points and seizing sole possession of first pace in the conference standings in the process.
 
Benito has been sharing time in goal with teammate Cory Pulles as ODU has enjoyed a 5-1-1 start to the year and an undefeated run in league play (4-0-0).
 
Ohio Dominican has now won five straight following the wins over the past week at Ashland and the Storm.
 
Benito faced 13 total shots against Lake Erie and made three saves in the first half, two in the second half and one stop in overtime.
 
Benito now has a 2-0-1 record on the season.
