INDIANAPOLIS – Hillsdale and Malone shared Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for the North Division as announced on Monday afternoon.

The Chargers improved to 10-2 and ran their current win streak to eight straight following victories on the road at Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene over the last week.
Shelton continues to put up monster season numbers for nationally ranked Hillsdale as she tallied 4.00 kills, 2.88 digs and 0.88 blocks, per set over the two matches.
Shelton led all players with 17 kills against KWC and added 10 digs with three blocks as the Chargers hit over .300 as a team.
The junior almost had another double-double, falling just one dig short, vs. TNU as she finished with 15 kills and four blocks.
Shelton is currently fourth in the conference in kills per set (3.80) and is seventh in digs (3.88). She is also fourth in points per set (4.35)

The Pioneers enjoyed a perfect week to remain third in the North Division standings after going on the road to grind out wins against Lake Erie and Ursuline.
Malone’s defensive prowess as a team is impressive while ranking third among all teams in the conference in opponent hitting percentage (.151).
Pinkerton has done her part while ranking fourth in the conference in digs per set (4.81) as she totaled 42 in the previous two matches.
Pinkerton came up with 12 digs against Lake Erie and the Pioneers held the Storm to a .025 hitting percentage. In five sets against Ursuline, the sophomore came up with 30 digs, her second match of the season with 30 or more.
She has the match high conference total this season after digging out 36 attack attempts vs. Slippery Rock earlier this month.
