INDIANAPOLIS – Ursuline and Cedarville were tabbed for respective honors in the new series of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week as announced on Tuesday morning.
Over the week, a three-way tie formed for first in the conference standings between Ashland, Cedarville and Trevecca Nazarene.
The conference opener for most programs was on Thursday with five contests played and five more games were completed on Saturday.

The Arrows scored their second win of the fall by taking down Malone in their conference opener on Thursday by a 4-3 score.
The shootout was led by the freshman forward Ehrbar, who tallied a hat trick as Ursuline fired off 20 shots as a team.
Ehrbar delivered the game’s first goal in the second minute of regulation, her second goal of the fall. Ursuline and Malone would go into the half tied at 1-1 before Hannah Pickens put the Arrows on top again less than two minutes into the second half.
Ehrbar gave UC a 3-1 cushion about 10 minutes later and in the 64th minute, completed the offensive hat trick with her third goal of the game.
Ehrbar now has four goals in four games early in her collegiate career.

Ackley went into enemy territory and the Yellow Jackets didn’t allow a goal with road victories at Ohio Dominican and Ursuline to open the conference schedule.
Ackley logged 184 minutes and some change as the Yellow Jackets blanked both opponents for six league points in the standings by a 1-0 final.
Ackley made a combined seven saves and Cedarville’s defense allowed just 13 total shots in both contests.
The sophomore improved her season goals against average to 0.46 and raised her save percentage to .917. Ackley has been the goalkeeper of record for all four games this season for Cedarville.
