INDIANAPOLIS  - Findlay and nationally ranked Hillsdale secured Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for the North Division as announced on Tuesday.

After the first tournament of the year was affected due to COVID protocols, the Oilers were able to make their fall debut at the Shark Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern in Florida.
 
Blevins was a machine on the offensive end of the court as she made a splash in her collegiate debut. She averaged exactly 4.00 kills per set and hit to a percentage of .419.
 
Blevins was credited with 64 kills in the four matches (16 sets) as the Oilers went 3-1 against Millersville, Dominican (NY), Barry and Auburn-Montgomery.
 
In her first match, she tied Hannah Warrington for the team lead with 16 kills while taking 29 swings. In the sweep against Dominican, she had 10 kills on just 17 attempts to hit .529. Blevins then smashed 17 kills on a .412 clip vs. Barry. She finished the tournament with a career-high 21 kills vs. AUM.
 
Blevins is the current league leader in kills per set, second in hitting percentage and also ranks top 5 in points.

Wiese was named the Outstanding Libero at the Hyatt Place Bash at the Beach tournament hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic.
 
The Chargers, ranked 18th in the AVCA Poll for back-to-back weeks, went 4-0 against their opponents and didn’t lose a set against the likes of Lenoir-Rhyne, Emmanuel, American International and host Palm Beach Atlantic.
 
Wiese averaged 5.83 digs per set over the four matches and had a tourney high 19 against both Lenoir-Rhyne and PBA.
 
Wiese currently leads the conference in digs per set (5.50) and is among the top DII leaders in that category based on last weekend’s performance.
