INDIANAPOLIS
– The Great Midwest Athletic Conference had a pair of men’s soccer student-athletes on the 2021 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team.
 
The 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Great Midwest is part of District 4 for the academic categorization.
 
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot.
 
Those honorees on the Academic All-American team will be announced in early July.
 
The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams are partially financially supported by the Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 All-America programs.
 
Cedarville and Malone each were represented at their respective positions on this year’s list.
 
The Yellow Jackets were highlighted by defender Jonny Stephens, a junior from Colorado Springs with a 3.86 in Civil Engineering.
 
The Pioneers had senior forward and North Canton native Nathan McFeaters also make the grade with a 3.34 GPA in Criminal & Restorative Justice.
