Cedarville’s Martone, Northcutt Recognized by United Soccer Coaches

Official Central/North Women's Soccer Scholar All-Region Team


INDIANAPOLIS
– A pair of Cedarville student-athletes were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches organization for excellence in the classroom as part of the 2020-21 Spring Scholar All-Region Team.
 
The Yellow Jackets and other Great Midwest Athletic Conference member institutions were categorized as part of the Central/North Region with six total names on the list.
 
Senior midfielder Mackenzie Northcutt and junior forward Aleah Martone were both named to the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches Central/North Scholar All-Region Team.
 
Martone is from Spencerport, N.Y. has a 3.97 GPA and is majoring in Civil Engineering. Northcutt hails from Niantic, Conn., is majoring in Criminal Justice and has a 3.86 GPA.
 
Martone and Northcutt helped the Yellow Jackets to an 8-3-1 record while sporting a 6-2-1 mark in the conference standings. Cedarville is coached by Jonathan Meade and advanced to the conference championship game in Columbus this spring.
