INDIANAPOLIS - Ohio Valley ran through the championship tournament bracket to take home a pair of Great Midwest Men’s Soccer Player of the Week honors as released Tuesday afternoon.
The road to the championship match consisted of beating Walsh in the quarterfinals (1-0) and Ohio Dominican in the semifinals (5-2). In the championship match, the Fighting Scots defeated Tiffin 2-0 for the conference title.

Hoyos scored one goal in each of the three tournament matches, including the game winning goal in both the quarterfinals and championship, as well as the tying goal in the semifinal match.
The Great Midwest Offensive Player of the Year finished the season with the most goals (12) and the most points (26) in the league. He averaged 1.6 shots per match and 1.1 goals per match on the year.

Over the course of the championship tournament, Rojas earned three wins and two shutouts in goal. The senior goalkeeper made 12 saves over the three matches, including five saves in both the semifinal and final match.
Rojas finished the season with the best goals against average in the league (.824) and the most shutouts with six. He ended the season with 34 saves, the second-most in the conference.
