INDIANAPOLIS – Selections from Hillsdale and Kentucky Wesleyan were announced as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Coming from the Chargers’ own backyard via Hillsdale Academy, Calvert enjoyed a strong performance at the Western Kentucky Hilltopper Relays over the weekend.
The freshman recorded the fastest 800-meter run time so far in the conference this spring with a time of 1:55.03 and would finish fourth. It was less than 2.5 seconds from cracking the top 10 list among all outdoor performers.
He also helped the 4x400 meter relay group finish second only behind Grand Valley State. They ran a time of 3:24.25.
During the indoor season, Calvert was a conference champion as part of the 4x400 relay and he also placed runner-up in the 800m.

Bouchard and Kentucky Wesleyan are preparing to host the conference outdoor championships for the first time later in May. The Panthers were host to the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational as the senior won his signature event.
Bouchard cleared 2.05m (6’ 8.75”) in the high jump to earn a provisional mark in Division II.
Bouchard tied Findlay’s Aaron Cooper for the best indoor height cleared with a mark of 2.01m at the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational.
He tied his own fifth-best mark in conference history for the outdoor season in the top 10 list.
