INDIANAPOLIS - Following the completion of the regular season, Hillsdale and Findlay earn Great Midwest Volleyball Player of the Week honors, announced Monday afternoon.
The regular season has ended and the eight-team bracket is set for the conference championship tournament. Hillsdale won its fourth-straight regular season title as the Chargers went undefeated in conference play and secured the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Walsh finished the season 10-1 to earn the No. 2 seed, Findlay finished 9-2 to earn the No. 3 seed and Cedarville finished 8-3 to earn the No. 4 seed. Their respective matchups are No. 8 Ursuline, No. 7 Trevecca, No. 6 Tiffin and No. 5 Ohio Dominican.
The top four seeds will host quarterfinal matches and the top remaining seed will host the semifinal and final matches.

The Chargers closed out the regular season with three wins last week. Defeating Findlay 3-0, Cedarville 3-1 and Ohio Valley 3-0.
Van Wienen tallied 29 kills on a .418 hitting percentage, while adding nine blocks this week. She averaged 3.63 kills per set and 1.13 blocks per set.
Against Findlay, Van Wienen had a match-best 16 kills on a .414 hitting percentage. She also added nine digs and four blocks in her defensive efforts.
In four sets against Cedarville, the middle hitter totaled 10 kills on a .400 hitting percentage. She again added four blocks.
Van Wienen only played in the first set against Ohio Valley, tallying three kills, five digs and one block in that set.
The senior is tied for second in the league in blocks with 1.0 per set. She ranks third in hitting percentage at .371 and eighth in kills with 3.20 per set.
Last week, she became only the fourth player in school history to surpass 1,000 kills and 300 blocks in her career.

The Oilers played three matches last week, falling to Hillsdale on Tuesday (0-3), but defeating Tiffin on Thursday (3-2) and Ohio Valley on Friday (3-1).
Morrison totaled 57 digs on the week, averaging 4.75 digs per set.
In the five-set win over Tiffin, the defensive specialist totaled 29 digs, which ties for sixth all-time in a match in school history. She also had seven assists and one ace in that match.
Against Hillsdale, Morrison had 11 digs through three sets. Against Ohio Valley, she tallied 17 digs to go along with three assists and one ace.
Morrison leads the Oilers in digs with 145 on the season, averaging 3.54 per set.
