INDIANAPOLIS - With five Great Midwest Athletic Conference programs nationally ranked, Hillsdale and Findlay earned weekly honors for volleyball as announced Monday afternoon.
The Hillsdale Chargers are the No. 1 ranked team in the nation as of last week's AVCA rankings, while Walsh (11), Findlay (13), Tiffin (19) and Ohio Dominican (20) are also nationally ranked.
Hillsdale once again did not lose a set, sweeping non-conference opponents Ashland and Davenport, then beating conference foe Lake Erie.
Tiffin swept Kentucky Wesleyan and Malone, while Findlay picked up a pair of wins over Ursuline and Lake Erie. Walsh gave ODU its first loss of the season, beating the Panthers in three sets.
Cedarville, who is receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll, swept KWC in the Yellow Jackets only match of the week.

Findlay's offense has proven to be lethal, ranking second in the league only behind Hillsdale, in both hitting percentage (.256) and kills per set (13.58). In large part, due to freshman, Hannah Warrington, who ranks second in total kills (83) and eighth in kills per set (3.30) among league competitors.
In a 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17) win over Ursuline, Warrington contributed 14 kills while only committing two errors, with a hitting percentage of .308. The outside hitter also added two service aces, three blocks and four digs in the win.
Findlay then swept Lake Erie (25-12, 25-22, 32-30). Warrington totaled 11 kills and improved her hitting percentage to .360. She also tallied two more aces and two more blocks.
Warrington averaged 3.57 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .328 on the week. She totaled 25 kills, five blocks and four service aces through seven sets.
This marks Findlay's first Player of the Week honors this season.

Allyssa Van Wienen is no stranger to Player of the Week honors, as she has now earned the title 10 different times throughout her career.
This week, Van Wienen is awarded with Defensive Player of the Week honors as she averaged nearly one block per set through nine sets. Hillsdale currently leads the league in both blocks (2.56 per set) and opponent hitting percentage (.089).
In a three set win over Ashland (25-21, 25-19, 25-15), Van Wienen added 13 kills, while only committing one error on 27 attempts for a hitting percentage of .444. She added three blocks to lead all players in that category.
Hillsdale then swept Davenport (25-17, 25-19, 25-19). Van Wienen added three blocks, four digs and eight kills, with a hitting percentage of .467.
The Chargers finished the week at home with a win over Lake Erie (25-15, 25-4, 25-14). The senior tallied two blocks, a team-best five service aces and nine kills. She did not commit a single attacking error on eighteen attacks, for a hitting percentage of .500.
Against Davenport, Van Wienen became the 11th player in Hillsdale history to reach 1,000 kills, as she now has 1,015 career kills. She also ranks eighth all-time in school history in blocks with 286, as she moved into the No. 8 spot this past week.
