INDIANAPOLIS – Following a strong performance with a variety of results achieved, Kentucky Wesleyan received Great Midwest Athletic Conference Wrestling Athlete of the Week credit as announced on Tuesday.

Adams and the Panthers competed on the mat at the Lander Duals as team scores were tabulated against host Lander, Emmanuel, Glenville State and Allen.
 
The sophomore had a weekend to remember in his weight class at 141 pounds with a 4-0 record that included all possible results with a decision, major decision, technical fall and a regular fall.
 
Adams scored a major decision over his opponent from Lander by an 16-5 final and recorded an 11-4 decision vs. his foe from Emmanuel.
 
He was dominant and quick in his work for a tech fall with a 17-1 count and stuck his opponent in 2:29 for a pin vs. Allen.
