INDIANAPOLIS – Tiffin and Ashland were named recipients of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week as announced on Tuesday morning.

Tiffin hosted the Andres Family College Open and Macadam made her indoor season debut after finishing the cross country season strong with a pair of impressive postseason performances.
 
The sophomore was first team all-conference at the Great Midwest Cross Country Championships in Cedarville with a fourth-place effort and she was 43rd overall in the Midwest Regional 6K.
 
She turned in a first-place effort in the mile with a time of 5:03.50 on Friday, seizing possession of the league’s top time so far in the year.
 
Macadam was one of the Dragons’ top performers at last year’s indoor conference meet with a third-place finish in the 800, fifth-place contributions in the 4x400 relay and a sixth-place effort in the distance medley relay.

For the second straight week in a row, the NCAA All-American Pauley established a new conference record in the women’s weight throw as the Eagles competed at the Youngstown State Collegiate Holiday Classic.
 
After posting a mark and fresh Great Midwest best of 19.18m at the Oiler Opener in the event to start 2021-22, the senior bettered that provisional standard with a heave of 19.31m.
 
Pauley now owns the top two marks in conference history and is ranked fourth among 21 total provisional marks in Division II.
 
In the 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships, Pauley finished fifth overall with a distance of 19.12m for All-American status.
