INDIANAPOLIS – The top two teams in the South Division, Ashland and Trevecca Nazarene, have received Great Midwest Volleyball Players of the Week honors for the South Division the conference announced Wednesday.

The Trojans went 2-0 on the weekend picking up Great Midwest wins over Cedarville and Ohio Dominican.
Over the weekend, Baldwin collected 28 kills with a .333 hitting percentage in two matches.
The senior recorded a career-high 22 kills in Trevecca’s win over Walsh, a big matchup that has playoff implications.
The stellar offensive performance by the middle blocker was accompanied with a .357 hitting percentage.
Trevecca Nazarene returns to action on Saturday for Senior Night hosting Kentucky Wesleyan.

South Division leader Ashland picked up a pair of straight-set victories this week including one over divisional foe Tiffin. The other came out of conference play against Central State as the Eagles avenged an earlier defeat against the Marauders.
Thompson kicked in on defense posting 47 digs over six sets averaging 7.8 digs per set.
She added seven assists and one kill to the stat sheet. This is her third conference weekly honor for her efforts defensively.
The Eagles will get back to work this weekend traveling to Cedarville and Ohio Dominican.
