After streaking all the way to the Atlantic Region final earlier this year, the Dragons are navigating a tough non-conference schedule while getting ready for a tough Great Midwest opening tilt against Cedarville this week.

Tiffin took care of business in its one game against Purdue Northwest at home, racking up a regional win in the process.

The talented first team all-conference guard led the way with 19 points and she finished one rebounds shy of a double-double with nine boards.

Nichols also handed out four assists and picked up a pair of steals while going a perfect 7-for-7 on free throws and she made half of her 12 attempts from the field.

The Dragons evened their overall record to 3-3 and Nichols is on the border of being a top 10 scorer in the league while averaging 15.8 points per game. She is also ranked third among all players in rebounding (8.5) while also recording 1.5 steals per contest.
