INDIANAPOLIS – After a pair of strong showings against Midwest Region competition, Cedarville was rewarded with Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors on Tuesday.
The second week of the season saw more non-conference contests being played from teams around the league. The opening weekend included crossover competition from opponents affiliated with the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Green is a two-time all-conference selection on the second team in his career and has started his senior season on a high note as the Yellow Jackets defeated a tough UIndy program and battled Grand Valley State.
The slashing guard averaged 24.5 points per game while shooting nearly 62 percent from the floor on his 26 field goal attempts. He canned nine makes from downtown and averaged a pair of rebounds and steals per game.
Green scored a game-high 27 points vs. the Greyhounds as he made 9-of-14 shots. The Yellow Jackets finished 11-of-21 from deep as a team as Green accounted for four of those made triples. He also added five makes at the charity stripe and collected three rebounds.
On the road in Allendale, Mich., Green was the high man once again with 22 points in just 25 minutes. He filled it up from distance again with five made threes and he ended up 7-of-12 shooting.
Green is one of four players in the conference to average over 20 points per game at this stage of the 2021-22 campaign. He has scored 20+ points in three of his team’s five games and has scored exactly 100 points so far.
Prior to the release, Green and the Yellow Jackets earned another big region victory by taking down Southern Indiana, a perennial nationally-ranked GLVC program, by scoring over 100 points at home on Monday.
