INDIANAPOLIS – The playoff race is down to the wire for several teams as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week were announced on Tuesday afternoon, the final day of the regular season.
Three teams are in the NCAA Super Region 3 rankings with five of the six spots in the conference tournament bracket already clinched.
Offensive Player of the Week

O’Halloran is currently on an absolute tear with at least one point recorded in six straight games and 11 points scored in Walsh’s last two contests vs. Malone and Trevecca Nazarene.
The win against TNU was part of the last week of competition for the Cavaliers, who improved to 11-3-3 overall.
The sophomore was able to record six points, including a pair of goals and a pair of assists in a 4-2 win over the Trojans.
Walsh has scored more goals than any other team in the Great Midwest this season with 35. O’Halloran is tied with three others players for the league lead in goals (9) while ranking second in assists.
O’Halloran currently is at the top in the conference among all points leaders with 24 (9 G, 6 A) this season.

The Storm locked in the conference regular season title for the second time in three years while bearing down on national championship consideration with a strong ranking in NCAA Super Region 3.
LEC will host the conference tournament final four which includes the semifinals (Nov. 11) and the championship game (Nov. 13) in Painesville.
Baker has been a mainstay in the starting lineup for head coach Louie Rolko since Sep. 30 while making nine consecutive starts. LEC is 8-1-0 in that span while earning road victories over the past week at Kentucky Wesleyan and at Cedarville, another team regionally ranked.
Baker helped the offensive cause as well with three assists, including two vs. Cedarville.
