Volleyball Players of the Week – South Division (Nov. 17)

INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week for the South Division were announced for Ashland and Tiffin on Wednesday.

Krupar posted crazy totals the league has been accustomed to seeing on the offensive side of the ball as the Eagles wrapped up the South Division regular season title outright with a 2-0 week vs. Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene.
 
The senior outside posted over four kills per set while hitting .277 to go with 24 digs. She added three service aces and three block assists.
 
Krupar is second in the conference in kills per set (4.54) and is the league leader in points per set (5.06).
 
Krupar and Ashland are preparing for the conference championship semifinals on Friday at Hillsdale. The Eagles had a first-round bye from Tuesday’s quarterfinal contests.

Schreiber and the Dragons had the same opponents as Ashland to conclude the regular season and Tiffin closed on a high note with a pair of wins vs. TNU and KWC.
 
Schreiber is top 10 in the Great Midwest in blocks per set and maintained those number with seven block assists in TU’s combined matches.
 
She also contributed almost two kills per set as Tiffin held TNU to a hitting percentage of .117 and .135 vs. KWC.
 
For the season, the senior middle is averaging 0.87 blocks per set in 85 sets played.
