INDIANAPOLIS – The top two teams in the current South Division standings secured Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week honors as announced on Monday afternoon.

The Eagles are flying high as leaders in the South Division and the program extended their current win streak to seven straight following a 3-0 week.
Ashland defeated Tiffin at home on Tuesday before embarking on a road trip to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene, all divisional opponents.
Krupar defended her conference player of the week award with another after tallying 4.0 kills per set, adding 13 digs and record five block assists. She also hit .245 while Ashland went over .500 to 8-7 overall.
She led all players against Tiffin with 15 kills in three sets while coming away with seven digs. Krupar came away with 12 kills and five digs vs. KWC and ended the weekend with nine kills vs. TNU.
She is the current league leader in points per set and trails Findlay’s Journey Blevins by a thin margin for the same distinction in kills per set.

Ohio Dominican is second only behind Ashland in the divisional standings after going through a gauntlet that included a home sweep against Cedarville and a road split vs. Walsh and Malone.
Shoup was outstanding in the back row this week for the Panthers, posting numbers that would exceed the league leaders in dig totals.
Shoup finished the three match stint by averaging 5.91 digs per set and she posted a career-high 27 digs against Malone in a five-set thriller.
Shoup also had 25 digs in a four-set final at Walsh and finished with 19 digs in just three sets against Cedarville. The sophomore is currently fourth in the league at 4.91 digs per set.
