INDIANAPOLIS – Ashland and Ohio Dominican were tabbed for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week as announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles are on a six-game win streak and remain unbeaten in the conference standings following a win against Kentucky Wesleyan.
Clark scored a pair of goals in the Ashland win as the Eagles rifled a total of 43 shots, including 25 in the first half.
Clark found the net in the ninth minute and would score again early in the second half for the eventual game winner.
The Eagles scored four goals in the second half to improve to 9-1-2 overall this season. Ashland’s current record has the program currently second in the league standings with 25 points only trailing Findlay with 26).
The two talented programs are on a collision course this weekend for a matchup in Ashland on Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week

After being first team all-conference at her position in the spring, McNerney has allowed only eight goals in 11 games this fall as ODU’s resurgence in the back part of the schedule continued over the past week.
The sophomore is closing in on 1,000 minutes played this year as the Panthers have put together a three-game win streak following victories against Walsh and Tiffin.
The six conference points helped ODU climb into fifth in the Great Midwest standings. McNerney made a combined 12 saves in both games while logging all possible 180 minutes.
McNerney recorded both wins in shutout fashion as the ODU offense provided support with two goals vs. Walsh and three more vs. Tiffin. It was also the team’s third consecutive shutout effort.
