INDIANAPOLIS – From the South Division, Tiffin and Ashland were honored with Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week honors following strong performances at the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament.

Huffman starts the engine for the Dragons at the setter position and the program had a very impressive performance at the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament as one of just six teams to go a perfect 3-0.
The senior averaged nearly 10 assists per set as Tiffin showed resilence with a pair of a five-set victories and a four-set win in Hammond, Ind.
TU defeated Wisconsin-Parkside on day one before beatin William Jewell and McKendree on Saturday.
Huffman totaled 128 assists in 13 sets while also averaging three digs per set and also being credited with nine kills.

The Eagles were the conference’s No. 3 overall seed at the Midwest Region Crossover, therefore drawing several tougher assignments with one of the better records.
Head coach Kevin Foeman and his program was ready as Ashland brought down Wayne State and Southern Indiana over the weekend.
Thompson was among the tournament’s best, coming up with 5.82 digs per set to rank fourth among all players from the three combined conferences.
She had a total of 64 digs in 11 sets played to earn her second conference weekly honor of the current season.
