INDIANAPOLIS – The latest Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week from the South Division were announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Tiffin Dragons improved to 5-4 in the Great Midwest standings after posting a 2-1 record last week.
Tiffin picked-up a non-conference win at Slippery Rock and another on Friday at conference foe Malone before falling to Walsh on Saturday.
Peterson helped the Dragons this week notching 2.83 kills per set while hitting .278 over three matches. The freshman hitter recorded a team-high 14 kills in Tiffin’s five-set win over Malone.
After advancing to the conference championship match in the spring, Tiffin currently sits in a tie for second place in the South Division conference standings.

Cedarville split its weekend going 1-1 against conference opponents Hillsdale and Findlay. The Yellow Jackets fell to No. 17 ranked Hillsdale 3-0, following that performance up with a win over Findlay in five sets on Saturday.
Willow averaged 1.13 blocks per set over two matches this week. In Friday’s match against Hillsdale, Willow recorded three total blocks along with six total against Findlay on Saturday.
Willow now has 49 blocks on the season and currently ranks second in the conference at 0.98 per set. Her sister Hannah, is also among the league’s best on the front line while ranking fifth (0.82) in blocks for the Yellow Jackets.
Cedarville is back in action on Friday against Illinois Springfield as part of the 2021 Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover in Hammond, Ind.
