INDIANAPOLIS – Ashland and Tiffin are both enjoying respective win streaks as each program shared Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week honors as announced on Tuesday.

Libertowski had a hand directly contributing to a conference record as the Eagles combined to score 14 goals over a pair of games against Trevecca Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan, both on the road.
 
Ashland tied the single-game conference record for the most goals scored in a league game (9). Their nine goals as a team matched Cedarville (2014) and Kentucky Wesleyan (2013).
 
Libertowski pulled off the hat trick against TNU in a 5-2 Ashland win, drilling goals in the ninth minute, 16th minute and 54th minute.
 
His monster week continued in a 9-1 blitzing of KWC with the game’s second goal at the 22:04 mark in the first half. Libertowski added an assist later on and would finish the week with 10 points.
 
Libertowski is tied for second in the conference in points with 14. He has logged six goals and two assists. Ashland has won three consecutive contests going into a new week.

Just past the midway point of the season, the Dragons are rounding into the form fans have been accustomed to seeing since Tiffin joined the Great Midwest in 2018.
 
The Dragons reeled off a pair of shutout victories while earning six conference points in the process and now are in the top third of the league standings at 4-2-2.
 
Tiffin outscored Malone and Trevecca Nazarene for road wins with the sophomore Lehman earning both decisions in net.
 
The Dragons’ defense was stifling against the Pioneers while allowing only three shots. TNU managed a few more with seven as Lehman finished out the week with three saves.
