INDIANAPOLIS – One of Division II’s best in the secondary, Findlay junior defensive back Christopher Jefferson, was named to the College Football America (CFA) Dream Team Starting Lineup earlier this month.
 
The CFA Starting Lineup is the organization’s version of a preseason All-American team leading up to the 2020 campaign.
 
Jefferson was one of just 27 student-athletes to make the grade and was the lone selection from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
 
The ball hawking safety landed on multiple Division II All-American rosters following his 2019 season. He was the Great Midwest Defensive Player of the Year and the D2CCA Midwest Region Defensive Player of the Year.
 
From Euclid, Ohio, Jefferson had nine interceptions, tied for the national lead regardless of division and also set a new single season and new conference record in the process.
