PHOENIX, Ariz. – A stalwart on the offensive line got his due on Saturday night as Findlay’s Andrew Dickinson (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland HS) signed an NFL contract as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals.
Dickinson came to terms following the completion of the 2020 NFL Draft, which was spread out over three days as general managers and coaches submitted their picks from home due to COVID-19.
The 6-3, 308 pound standout is the fourth former Great Midwest Athletic Conference student-athlete that will be at least reporting to rookie mini camp presumably at some point this summer.
Dickinson joins former Kentucky Wesleyan WR Keelan Cole (Jacksonville), Findlay WR Jason Moore (Los Angeles) and Malone WR Ashton Dulin (Indianapolis) in the professional ranks.
Dickinson, a D2football.com Preseason All-American, was a three-time all-conference selection in his time at Findlay. His three all-conference awards came with UF a member of the Great Midwest in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Redshirting as a true freshman season in 2015, Dickinson went on to start in 46 games over the next four years, helping anchor one of the most consistent offensive lines in the region over that span.
