Great Midwest Volleyball Composite Schedule
INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released its volleyball schedule for the 2020-21 academic year on Friday afternoon.
The conference schedule features all 12 programs and is formatted as a single round robin with each institution playing 11 contests spread throughout seven weeks in January, February and March.
The season debut is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19, with Walsh at Cedarville and Malone at Ohio Valley. The regular season will conclude on Saturday, March 6, with Hillsdale on the road at Ohio Valley.
The Great Midwest Volleyball Championship will make up the eighth week of the season. The quarterfinal matches will fall on Tuesday, March 9, and the semifinals and finals will be conducted on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13. The top four seeds advancing into the playoffs will host quarterfinals and the semifinals and finals will be held at the top remaining seed.
Great Midwest Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week award selections will resume with the first student-athletes being announced Tuesday, January 25. A date for the traditional Great Midwest Preseason Coaches Poll presented by Under Armour is still to be determined.
All match start times will be determined by the home institution and are subject to change. Any non-conference matches that are being played will be announced at a later date by each member institution.
