INDIANAPOLIS – With more provisional marks being recorded around the league, Davis & Elkins and Tiffin received awards for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

After becoming the first D&E indoor track champion earlier this year in the 5K, the freshman Arnaud has continued to make waves during the outdoor season.
At the Duke Invitational, Arnaud clocked a new conference record time of 14:22.38 in the 5K, breaking the old previous best from Walsh’s Mark Hadley by about eight seconds.
There were only a handful of Division II runners in the field at the Duke Invitational as Arnaud finished 17th overall.
Arnaud currently ranks 17th in Division II among all provisional qualifiers in the event.

Jackson made the rounds over the past week in California, competing at the Twilight Meet on Thursday and the Mt. SAC Relays later in the weekend.
The senior had high marks in the shot put and discus events for the Dragons. He finished second in the discus at the Mt. SAC Relays and was fifth and fourth, respectively, entering in both shot put competitions.
Jackson put his name alongside former NCAA DII champion Duke Taylor (Malone) in the conference record books with the sixth-best attempt in the discus.
At 54.52m (178’10”), he was a provisional qualifier and now ranks ninth in Division II according to the TFRRS rankings.
