INDIANAPOLIS – Ohio Dominican and Trevecca Nazarene were each featured for Great Midwest Athletic Conference Softball of the Week honors as announced on Monday afternoon.

Ohio Dominican is still streaking. The Panthers pushed their win streak to 13 straight games with four more wins in the past week.
ODU is now 12-0 in the conference schedule and improved to eight games over .500 as Farmer delivered an impressive week at the plate.
The junior batted .583 while going 7-for-12. She belted three home runs and doubled while driving in six. Farmer also drew a pair of walks while starting at first base for all four games vs. Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins.
Farmer went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the second game of the DH sweep over Alderson Broaddus.
The next day, she doubled in game one and ripped two more home runs in game two as part of a 3-for-3 effort. She had four RBI as the Panthers completed another series sweep.
Farmer has now slugged eight homers on the spring while starting all possible 34 games for ODU. She is hitting .297 with eight doubles and 21 RBI.

Savannah Carr

Carr improved to 9-4 in the win-loss column as she made two appearances and came away with decisions of record against Christian Brothers and Tiffin.
Carr tossed 10.1 innings and sported an ERA of 0.68 with a complete game shutout.
In a midweek doubleheader, Carr threw 5.1 innings and gave up just one earned run on four hits with a strikeout. She used 80 pitches as the Trojans picked her up with five runs of support in a 5-2 win.
In conference play, she helped the Trojans salvage a split vs. Tiffin with a two-hitter in an 8-0 final. She fanned three batters and walked a pair with the pitch count at 69 as TNU blanked the Dragons.
Carr earned her third pitcher of the week selection for the season and the fourth for her career.
