Through 10 games this spring, Byers is now batting an eye-opening .541 with seven homers and 22 RBI.

Pitcher of the Week
Megan Fisher
Sophomore
Findlay
RHP
Wapakoneta, OH (Wapakoneta HS)

Fisher tossed a total of 10.1 scoreless innings during the Oilers’ spring break trip down in Clermont, Fla.

Fisher gives reigning Great Midwest co-Coach of the Year Danielle Lowe a versatile option as part of the rotation, coming in either for long relief roles or providing a quality start.

Fisher did both for the Oilers against Gannon and Edinboro. She fired a complete game five-hit shutout against Gannon in her first outing of the week that included five strikeouts in a 2-0 winning decision.

The sophomore then picked up another win against Edinboro by tossing 3.1 scoreless innings in a 3-2 Findlay triumph.

Also, Fisher fired four more scoreless frames just before the previous week officially started, against Georgian Court. She has a current streak of 17 scoreless innings dating back to March 2.
