INDIANAPOLIS – With a pair of teams on byes, three games were contested in Week 9 as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week honors were announced on Monday afternoon.
Both ranked in Super Region 1, Tiffin and Ohio Dominican were idle as Findlay, Hillsdale and Walsh, emerged as winners in their respective matchups.

Board man gets paid (Kawhi Leonard reference). In this case, it was the former Spartans prep star and first team all-conference running back doing it in all three facets of the game against Kentucky Wesleyan.
Adu-Poku racked up almost 300 yards of all-purpose yardage, 64 on the ground, 128 in the receiving game and 85 as a returner to help Walsh hold off the Panthers, 27-24.
Adu-Poku had four catches for 128 yards to lead all receivers in the league for Week 9 and had a pair of touchdowns from QB Nick Gassman.
The junior took it to the house from 64 yards right before halftime to tie the games at 7-7 going into the locker room. He put the Cavaliers on top in the third quarter to cap an eight-play drive with an eight-yard haul inside the red zone.
Adu-Poku carried a significant amount of the ground game with 16 carries for 64 yards. He also had a long return of 41 yards on a kickoff while getting three total attempts.

As the league leader in sacks with 8.5, it was In Morgan we Trust as the Cavaliers made their defensive stand to pick up a win at home in the Hall of Fame Stadium.
The senior wreaked havoc and padded his season totals as he finished with seven tackles as an interior lineman. Five of his seven tackles were solo stops.
He also was credited with two tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 1.5 sacks on the day as the Cavaliers racked up five total on the day as a team.
Trust helped ground Kentucky Wesleyan’s run attach with 32 net yards.
On the year, Trust has 43 tackles and a pair of forced fumbles go with 11 tackles for a loss in nine games.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Bryce Sealock

Grand Island, NE (Central Catholic HS)
After his Week 9 performance, Sealock is second in the conference in kicking points this year with 55, trailing Tiffin’s AJ Nickoli by just 1.
Sealock was a perfect 8-for-8 on his PAT tries as Hillsdale had a big offensive day against Alderson Broaddus in conference action.
It was just the seventh time in conference history a kicker had made eight PAT’s in one game.
The senior has cashed in over 97 percent of his extra-point kicks and his 34-for-35 on the season. He also has made seven of his eight field goal kicks through nine games and is averaging 6.1 points per game.
Sealock was following in the footsteps of special teams standout Joe Philipp, who holds the league record for the longest field goal (51 done twice).
