INDIANAPOLIS – After a 2-1 weekend showing at the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament, Hillsdale stayed put at No. 16 in the new American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-25 Poll released on Monday.

The Chargers have been ranked 16th for back-to-back weeks as they embark on a perfect regular season through the Great Midwest Athletic Conference so far.

Hillsdale defeated No. 17 Rockhurst (now No. 20) and Saginaw Valley State in straight sets while falling in five sets to No. 10 Lewis (now No. 9) in Indianapolis at The Academy.

Hillsdale is now 16-3 overall with ambitions of running the tables to host the Great Midwest Championship tournament for the third consecutive season.

The Chargers still haven’t lost a set in conference action as the program gets ready to host Ohio Dominican on Friday evening.

Junior middle blocker Allyssa Van Wienen continued her dominance on the floor as she was one of six players from the conference to be named to the Midwest Region Crossover All-Tournament Team.

Hillsdale has seven matches remaining in the regular season before getting ready for the postseason and the conference tournament.
