Sita placed second in his weight class at the Waynesburg Invitational over the weekend, recording three bonus-point victories on the mat.

Sita made his way to the final with a technical fall, major decision and a pin, before only a sudden victory setback interrupted his perfect run through the 174-pound bracket.

After getting a first-round bye, Sita dominated Sal Puglisi from Gettyburg with the tech fall by a count of 18-3. In his second-round matchup, he majored Alma Colege’s Lucas Brewer by a score of 16-5.

In the semifinals, Sita came through with a 6:56 stick of Jaden Datz from Washington & Jefferson.

He gave it a great shot in the championship final against Colin Kowalski of Gettyburg, ultimately falling by the narrowest of decisions at 5-4 in SV.
