INDIANAPOLIS – The league schedule is a little more than halfway complete as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week honors were announced on Monday morning.
Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan continue to pull away at the top of the conference standings with their growing win streaks. The Yellow Jackets have a half-game lead on the Panthers at 12-1 and have won six straight.
KWC’s win streak has extended to double digits with 11 consecutive victories. Both programs have aspirations to win the regular-season title and will collide with each other on Feb. 7.
Findlay and Walsh are clustered in a tie for third with Ohio Dominican in solo fourth. Lake Erie, Trevecca Nazarene and Ursuline, are also locked in a tie in the middle of the standings.

Miller and the Dragons have won four straight conference games, a streak for the program that hasn’t been done since the 2012-13 campaign.
The senior is trying to help push Tiffin into the postseason while the Dragons continue their first year as a conference member.
She produced an impressive line over the past week as TU defeated Ohio Valley and Ohio Dominican in a pair of high-scoring affairs. Miller averaged 21.5 points, four rebounds, three steals and 2.5 assists per game, in both victories.
She made over 58 percent of her shots from the field and was 6-of-11 from three-point territory.
Miller posted 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting as Tiffin eclipsed the century mark in scoring as a team vs. OVU. She added four rebounds and four assists with five steals in 27 minutes.
Tiffin’s win against Ohio Dominican included 18 points from Miller on 7-of-11 shooting.
She is currently the third-leading scorer for the Dragons at 10.1 ppg. She has been the team’s leading scorer in four different games this season.
Tiffin’s win streak started on Jan. 17 and also includes wins at home vs. Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus.
